We have 2 more great speakers and talks lined up for you in April.
Talk 1: Production Debugging Web applications - or how I learnt to love the windbg and other tools - Josh Robb
Ever had an error or performance problem in production which you could not reproduce in your development environment? I have for reasons best explained in 50 Shades of Grey developed a strange enjoyment of these kinds of problems. I'll show you some of the tools and techniques available for investigating and resolving these issues.
Josh is a code nanny @ Pushpay. He puts the lotion on the code.
Talk 2: F# - The Easy Bits - Mark Young
"Functional programming" seems to be gaining a lot more developer traction, with everyone in Silicon Valley who can't spell Angular rushing to put Haskell, Scala, Clojure or F# on their CV. In this novice friendly talk, Mark will go over some of the basics of F# and discuss how dabbling in F# and Scala is changing how he writes C#. We'll take a look at some of the fun projects and developments happening in the community, ways you can incorporate these skills into your projects and do a bit of live coding.
By day Mark writes code for GreenButton, helping make clouds do stuff. The rest of the time he's struggling to write witty bios and watching technology transform via Twitter.
Come along to meet other devs, drink beer, eat pizza and hear good talks. Hope to see you there.
Please note this is at the old Xero office, not the one where we had the October meetup.
