Ski Trail Clearing at Cardigan

Hey backcountry skiers, ever wonder who keeps backcountry ski trails clear of blowdowns, brush, and other hazards? If you have skied the network of backcountry ski trails around Cardigan lodge, this weekend is time to give back and be one of the many volunteers that make Cardigan such a great place to experience backcountry skiing. If you have not skied at Cardigan, come check out what this mountain has to offer skiers of all types and abilities. You will be provided tools and instruction and be part of a team to work ski trails and get them ready for winter. Join us for the day or for the weekend. Stay in lodge and eat the hardy Cardigan meals for only $40. You will need to contact Carolyn Brooke [masked] or [masked]) for a bunk at lodge OR just show up Saturday morning for the day.
Many hands make light work and more fun.

Have you ever hosted an event where nobody showed up? I heard about 25 people will be at Cardigan this weekend, including several from Boston area. Its going to be a GREAT weekend to be outside.
