We are a group of diverse skiers and riders active in cross country, telemark, alpine, and/or snowboarding based out of Boston area. Our leaders run both backcountry and resort trips in White and Green mountains. We are organized under the Appalachia Mountain Club (AMC), which is a large collection of small groups like ours. AMC offers a structure for leadership training, peer-approved leaders, and workshops taught by volunteer instructors to help others improve their skills and participate at a higher level. Our trips are FREE and open to everyone, although participants in backcountry trips are usually screened to insure they don’t end up somewhere they don’t belong. (New England backcountry can be variable). We are NOT a young singles group, retirees on skis, or Men on a Mission. We are diverse in the style and ability of our trips and the ethnicity and age of our members. We are serious about skiing with competent leadership, but loose enough to have fun on the way.
