IS 7:00 the correct meeting time?

    • Susan R

No. Requiring a time seems to be a Meetup requirement. At the AMC we post trip details only to confirmed participants.

Looks like I have 2 more Marines coming Monday from the White Mountains Wilderness weekend. That would put us over the limit for this group, however, I will enjoy seeing you at the trailhead. Look for 5 well-equipped guys! We will embark on our own independent and free hike this time and unite another time. Tea and Crumpets afterwards? ha ha!

Please post a standard screening questionnaire for all of us and we'll get back to you with it before the hike .

Thanks for a great opportunity! My buddies and me are looking forward to this hike as a warmup for our day of sports on the Mountain. Anybody is welcome to join us afterwards for the day and we will be heading to my family's house in Princeton for a barbecue supper and watching the Olympics open to all!

I'm hiking with the Marines in New Hampshire this weekend. Two of the guys are from Worcester and might be interested in attending if they return when I do. How might I introduce them to the group if they are not sure about the meetup thing?

Is there a more welcoming format than what I received? I understand this is a new group but it might be worth considering the approach.

    Thanks a bunch Mike.

Ted, new site aside, we're new to the whole meetup phenomena so I'm immediately curious what you mean by "welcoming format." For comparison I've taken a look at the only other meetup I've looked intolingly and the one thing that jumps out at me is we don't seem to have a home page, which puzzles me, because I know I read something that Charlie wrote up.
