AMC Young Members (20s and 30s)
Founded in 1876 and dedicated to promoting the protection, enjoyment, and wise use of the mountains, rivers, and trails of the Northeast outdoors, the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is the nation’s oldest outdoor recreation and conservation organization. One of 12 regional chapters from Maine to Washington, D.C., the AMC’s New York-North Jersey Chapter has approximately 13,000 members and offers hundreds of outdoor activities a year in our area.
The Young Members Committee of the NY-NoJ Chapter invites you to try out an AMC hike! The activities listed through this meetup group, which represent only a small portion of the activities organized by our chapter, are open to anyone, regardless of age, who meets the specific requirements of the event, such as physical fitness and equipment, but are specifically intended to provide a welcoming environment for those in their 20s and 30s.

We hope to see you in the woods!
