Hi Gemma,
As of now the hike is still on and will stay that way unless the forecast gets significantly worse. The forecast I've seen calls for isolated thunder showers but mainly in the afternoon. Unless it rains early this route is hard to cut short, so I recommend a rain jacket. In the afternoon we pass several building we can tuck into if it starts raining later.
