This course is intended to prepare attendees to take and pass the Lean Bronze Certification Examination. On the first two days, attendees will be introduced to the Lean Certification Body of Knowledge, and will review the recommended reading materials from which all test questions are drawn. The course includes practice exams and hands-on exercises to give students a good idea of what will be included in the exam and offers several takeaways that students will find useful on exam day. On the third day, the Bronze Exam will be offered for those students who have signed up to take it. NOTE: Students must sign up for the exam separately through SME at www.sme.org/leancert The course will be led by Pat Wardwell, an experienced lean practitioner who has achieved the Gold level of Lean Certification. She is also a past member of the SME Lean Certification Oversight and Appeals Committee and is a Shingo Prize and AME Award Examiner.
