WELCOME TO ANANDA! JOY is within you...

You may know us by the name of ANANDA  Self-Realization Yoga and Meditation Center. We'd like to introduce ourselves to you with our new name " ANANDA CENTER". 

Ram and Dikshini Smith, our dear friends and the former leaders of our group have relocated to Los Angeles.  They've  barely been  gone a week, and we miss them already.

Are you seeking inner peace? Or wanting to find deeper purpose and meaning in life?  Have you had questions about God, or are you, seeking a deeper connection with the Divine?  We offer support and friendship for your spiritual journey.

We are a joyful non-sectarian meditation group that meets every Sunday morning from 10am to Noon.  You are invited to join us for meditation, chanting, inspirational readings and talks, and a vergegarian potluck lunch afterwards.

Ananda Center and the offerings we share are based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic, Autobiography of a Yogi.  Yogananda came to America in 1920 to integrate the spiritual teachings of the east and the west.  He brought with him the ancient wisdom of yoga, meditation, and kriya yoga.  Ananda was founded by Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda.

 

While we offer programs throughout Rhode Island, our main center is at 40 Collins Road, Hopkinton. Here you may join our Sunday gatherings, and also enjoy one of our other offerings including yoga, meditation, chanting, book discussions, healing prayer circles, fellowship and more.
