APLN Chicago - October 2013 Meetup: "Wide Open Spaces"

At most APLN Chicago meetings, we try to present a program that focus on topics that are of general interest to the Agile community at large.

We generally try to leave room during the second part of the meeting to hold an OpenSpace session to essentially open the floor to let the attendees control the agenda.  This is a great opportunity for members of the APLN family to help each other solve problems through shared experiences and advice.

We find that OpenSpace is a great way to crowd-source solutions to those burning questions that never seem to come up on the regular schedule.  Do you have a question about a particular Agile practice?  Does some aspect of an Agile method confuse you?

This month, the floor is open.  Choose a topic!  Let's find the answers together.

Food will be provided during the networking period.

  • You can park in any of the open parking lots surrounding the building.  The covered parking is not available for visitors.
  • 6:00 - 6:30 Networking and dinner will take place in the building lobby (the lobby doors lock at 6:30, so we will keep the networking portion of the event in the lobby so we can admit stragglers.)
  • 6:30 - 8:30 OpenSpace sessions/discussions (at 6:30, we'll proceed upstairs to the Gogo offices conference room for the presentation.)

Food and refreshments which will be provided during the Networking period.

There is no charge for this month's meeting!

It was better than expected. I especially liked the ideas that were being tossed around. I wanted to find likeminded people to collaborate with and this meeting met my expectations.
