Do you seek things that go bump in the night? Have you had any experiences with the paranormal? Are you a believer? Or are you a skeptic? Are you interested in learning more about the exciting field of the paranormal?

For all those who may have answered yes to any of these questions, you are in the right place. Welcome to the APRS Paranormal Meetup of Albany, as sponsored by the Albany Paranormal Research Society Inc.!

The APRS Paranormal Meetup of Albany is a group for those with interest in the paranormal in the Capital Region of New York State and beyond. This is the only meetup group in the area that is associated with the Albany Paranormal Research Society (APRS) an officially registered Not for Profit Corporation with New York State and also a proud member of the TAPS Family.

During the year the group meets for discussions on topics of interest in the realm of the paranormal, lectures with special guest speakers, educational seminars on such topics as paranormal phenomena, paranormal investigating including the equipment used and in the nice weather outings to local sites where paranormal activity has been reported.

Permission is always obtained for the places we go, so there is never any trespassing.

Our past activities have also included trips to Rhode Island to visit TAPS (Sci Fi Ghost Hunters) to attend "Paranormal 101" with their case manager Kristyn Gartland. The group also has visited places of interest such as the Ten Broeck Mansion and attended the Haunted Tour of the Capital Building in Albany.

Our events are currently held at Venture Inward, located in VenDenHouten Square (back entrance) at 568 Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush, NY.

Members who attend our events range in age from 16 and up (under 18 yrs old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian). Please join us in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to seek, learn and share with others who have an interest in the paranormal.
