Aqua Corps volunteers will meet and together prepare about 100 bagged lunches to homeless individuals in Philadelphia.

Next, we will head over to Philadelphia and hand the lunches out to street homeless folks with outreach information.  Depending on how many volunteers and bagged lunches we have, our volunteers may split into small groups at different locations.

Please post what you can bring, i.e. Bread, cheese, turkey, bottled water, Oranges, bagged chips, dessert, etc.  We always need plastic shopping bags to pack the lunches in!  If you have any extra clothes you would like to donate, bring them along!

Every other Sunday we will rotate from meeting in South Jersey and Philly to prepare the lunches!

As always, awesome people doing awesome things. :-) Despite the bitter cold, it was a great turn out. For next time, I'll try to bring some winter clothing donations, especially for the kiddos since some were without gloves.

This says "volunteers willmeet and together prepare bagges lunches....head over to philadelphia" Where is everyone meeting originally to prepare the bagged lunches? I live about 15 minutes outside of philadelphia and a few friends of mine are interested in helping. Is the spot also in philly?

Hi Tiffany, we meet at the Touch NJ food bank in Camden (address posted in the info section) to assemble the lunches. We then travel over to a distribution site in Philly to deliver the lunches. Hope this helps. See you next Sunday!
