Welcome, Ulises. You can learn lots of details about WP at the East Bay Meetup; if you want an overview, I recommend taking a class. Anca offers them at Tech Liminal and Adria Richards offers them online. (I'm actually preparing a very basic intro class for Media Bistro right now, myself, but since it's my first time, I hesitate to plug it.)
