5 speakers will have 5 min each to demo an augmented reality experience (preferably that they developed), followed by Q&A.
February will be our third meeting and there is a lot of interest for presenters so I'm sorry that some of you won't get to present. However, to be considered, please read below: Submit your demo by stating your: 1. Name and/or Company Name and logo (if you have one) 2. URL (to the product) 3. One sentence description ("The web app that makes your coffee and puts on your shoes with one click!") 4. Slightly longer description |

Our research is focused on creating game environments inside a school classroom, with affordable technology, that can foster meaningful learning experiences. The idea of an augmented classroom is to transform the normal school classroom in a virtual world, by adding paper markers in the desks and giving each student a mobile device with a camera. As the students move around the class, they can interact with virtual objects positioned all over the classroom that can be seen throught their devices. Additionally, each student wears a "marker hat", allowing player to player interaction throught the devices. |

This is not an AR demo but a presentation about civic infrastructure that can aide the development of AR applications.
