Contemporary Art Episode

  • Aug 25, 2013 · 2:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

With a background organizing large scale contemporary art exhibitions in Asia, Tyler Russell is one of leading figures in North Shore’s Contemporary Art scene. Since 2009, his gallery, CAFCA, has featured several artists working on conceptual, electronic, and audio/video installations. Tyler will discuss art and medium, and he will share his view on DIY/Maker movements from a curator’s perspective.

Also afterwards, Jesse will show us the public digital art installation nearby he has worked on.

I *really* wish I could get to this (it's about all my favourite things) but I've a prior family appointment.

I've been to this place a bunch - great venue. Afterwards, if people are interested, I can show the public digital art installation I am working on for the City of North Van - its just down the street at Lonsdale Quay!!!
