If you are interested in 3d-printing/additive manufacturing, CAD, architecture, or design in general, this session will be of interest to you.

Topics of discussion:

- Arguably the most beautiful car ever made, Citroen DS appeared in 1955, well before CAD system was in use.  So how they design/manufacture those curved bodies?

- Splines, NURBS, subdivision surfaces : the technology behind CAD. Are they much more flexible than French curves?
- What are other unusual (yet ingenious) methods to design curved shapes?
Hint: Weaving, origami, and modular construction.

I will be succinct.  You are most welcomed to take part in the discussion.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
