Introduction

Salon/Sanctuary is New York's newest early music series, offering an alternative to the conventional concert hall. We present concerts in venues appropriate to the repertoire, with intimate concerts performed by internationally renowned soloists.

What art are we missing? What have you found lately? What kind of stuff do you like?

We are missing concerts of chamber music in venues that are appropriate to the music, concerts of early music in venues that offer historical verisimilitude, and concerts of sacred music in appropriate sanctuaries.
