Last month we were gazumped by the rescheduled Tweed Ride (which was a hoot, BTW - thanks to Susan and Yogi for making that happen.
This month, we ride to a suitable café, possibly in Balmain, where we do the brunch thing and then wander over to the Manning Bar at Sydney Uni for the bi-monthly (or is quarterly?) Sydney Alternative Rock 'n' Roll Markets.
The markets are a hoot. There is heaps of live music and culture-related stalls. Spurs for Jesus are playing that's good enough for me. It's worth going to check out the dancers.
A fiver to get in and there's a couple of bars.
Open to suggestion for a cafe. Something old-fashioned, but not retro (there is a difference).
The usual stuff - helmet, water bottle, functioning bicycle and your wallet.
