Cosmos Premier Watch Party

  • March 9, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Join us for this special edition of Sinner's Cinema as together we witness the premier episode of Neil deGrasse Tyson's "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey".

Laney is our hostess for the evening. The fun starts at 6pm and the show is from 8 to 9pm. Bring along your favorite pot-luck snacks and beverages to share.

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will invent new modes of scientific storytelling to reveal the grandeur of the universe and re-invent celebrated elements of the original series, including the Cosmic Calendar and the Ship of the Imagination.

Uniting skepticism and wonder, and weaving rigorous science with visual, emotional and spiritual elements, it will be a transcendent experience – a vision of the cosmos on the grandest scale we know.

Was this only for the premier, or will additional meetups continue for new episodes?

If you decide to do the airings on Fox Sundays, I'd be able and want to do those. Don't think the NatGeo Monday airings would work for me. I guess whatever works for the most schedules.

Sure enough it is! I fixed it. When I created this event last Tuesday, I swear my TV Guide app said 7-8pm. Maybe it didn't take into account the Daylight Savings Time switch last night?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
