Supporter of humanistic principles, separation of church and state, and the encouragement of peaceful, environmentally friendly solutions to the problems that plague our planet.
I am not an activist, however, I support access to fact based education in public schools; reasonable access to food, medicine, and shelter for both the employed and unemployed; opposition to taxation without representation; and I volunteer with organizations who assist children and families to survive health issues and natural disasters. I live in Pulaski County but have 1 adult son living in northwest Arkansas. He is very happy there so I am researching meetups in that area in the event that I am able to retire, as planned, in the next few years, and relocate near the epicenter of his life.
After an extended period of involvement and social activities, ASF events resemble a big family reunion, like cousins you haven't seen in ages as well as new additions to the family showing up. Nice to have the reassurance that "you are not alone" and that the bible belt region has clusters of ASF minded people throughout it who share pizza, movies, art, and ideas.
