ASAN-LA/UCLA is working to achieve human rights for all autistic people. We are interested in working to improve services, supports, and education for autistic people, and to improve awareness and acceptance of neurodiversity principals in the general public. We oppose the pro-cure agenda, dangerous and unproven "treatments" for autism, and dehumanizing and offensive media portrayals of autistic people. We wish to provide support and self-advocacy skills for autistic adults, and also invite family members, friends, and professional allies to join in our efforts.
