Introduction
I am an ASL student and I'd like to become more involved with the Deaf community.
How long have you used ASL?
I try to use ASL anytime I talk to my son as well as when I volunteer in the Deaf community.
Why learn ASL?
I started learning ASL as a child. I never pursued learning more until I started taking it in college.
Formal education and if so, where
I have taken 3 semesters of ASL at Cuyamaca College.

My thoughts are to maybe post a "poll" asking all the possible questions you would like answers to. Polls helped me a lot in knowing what area to hold a meetup, what days, time of day, and also to know what went well, what didn't with the group meetup. But also one thought is that it may take a bit of time to revive this group if it wasn't very active . Give it some time. I'll be happy to help out too if you like. I see you're a member f ASL and you're in East County, me too... El Cajon. Still fairly new to meetup's groups; went to the last meet up in March at Claire de Lunes and I'll be at Clare's on Sunday. I met Celia, she and one of her friends/classma
tes are also in East county. Since I've had no luck locating anEast County ASL group, I'm thinking about starting one.
