July 23, 2013
I started to learn in February 2013, I love ASL and I practice a lot.
First, there was that option for the 3rd year of my degree (just did 2 yrs) to learn sign language that I wanted to take. Then I came here to be an Au Pair and I decided to take ASL, thinking I could start to learn it here and it would be easier in France, got it wrong! Sign language is different in each country. So now, I'm just thinking that I will know ASL and LSF (Langue des Signes Français). For me, you can share much more feelings, emotions... with Sign Language than with the other languages. I think it's a beautiful language!
I'm Babeth, I'm from France. I'm working in the US as student Au Pair, and I just love Sign Language. I would love to practice with other ASL learners or maybe deaf people.
