Hello, My name is Rebecca Fadem Minor, I'm a interpreter educator and mentor. My goal is to maintain this website so that you can find updated information about upcoming Deaf/ASL events.
12 years
I took my first sign language class when I was an undergrad at Towson University and I have been hooked ever since.
"If you are interested in hosting a meetup through ASL Bridge or have an event that you would like advertised through our site please contact me and I will be happy to post it. "
This is a great resource for information about upcoming Deaf community events! This group is a great opportunity for new signers to get acquainted with the Deaf community!

Becca, we attended the movie Friday (the Gift) really loved it and it was great to meet Alex and some of the others. We live in Burke, VA and wonder if folks on this meet up ever meet out this way for sing language study/gathering
s? Larry said that you would be the one to ask! Hope to meet you someday. Thanks for keeping me posted on the events.
Hello Becca, I am new to Amercan Sign Language. I am wanting to learn sign language since high school, but I can't because of transition between Thai and English. Now I am ready to go forward to what I like and recently I found out that I have auditory nerve dysfunction for my left ear. Anyway, right now I am attending ASL 1 at MC. I have two children and I hardly have time to go very far for the meet up. Would you please give some advice? Thx

Hi, Becca! I work for NPR Labs, where we develop radio technology for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We would like to invite you and your friends to an Election Night Coverage Party at Towson University on November 4th. We will be displaying the first national live captioned broadcast. If you are interested, please e-mail me at [masked]. We are looking forward to the historic event. Best Regards, Mary Hinch
