Introduction
I have been self-teaching ASL via the Internet since October 2011, and I would like to test out my progress and at the same time meet and socialize with new people.
How long have you been signing?
Since October 2011. Not long at all.
What made you interested in sign language?
I have had prior exposure to Deaf culture due to having an interpretation student for a friend, but I never truly got interested until I befriended a local family with a deaf son. Since then, I have always been looking for ways to improve my ASL, short of actual live communication.
