Hello Runners!  Starting this week we will begin to cover some ground.  The first few sessions are always busy with workshops and trainings in order to get you off to the best start.  For those of you that attended the Foundation Training Workshop and the Good Form Running Clinic, great!  You now have valuable knowledge you can put to good use.  For those of you that were not able to make it, no problem.  Access the Member Zone on the Snail's Pace web site and you willl find the handouts there under "Forms," I believe.  If you have any problem with that or need help, let me know.  Also, for those of you who had your run recorded on Saturday, Coach Mike will be out this Tuesday night at the shop to go over your running analysis.  For those of you who have not registered for the Knott's Coaster Run (10K), which is our goal race, I am pasting the discount code and link to register here:  DISCOUNT CODE:  ASNAILSPACE

OK, I think that's everything with the business side of things!

Tuesday night we will head out for a 45 minute run at the 4-1 interval.  I'll choose the route when we get there.  Don't forget to bring your water or sports drink.  Even when it's not hot, it's just as important to hydrate.  Following our run we will put into practice our Foundation Training (FT) skills with our post-run cool down.  Everyone is off to a great start and I'm looking forward to a great session with all of you!  As we progress, feel free to ask questions and more importantly, if you have any questionable aches or pains, be sure to advise me of that as well.  In the beginning it isn't always ease to tell when you should push through and when you should back off.  And for any of you who may be  feeling a little nervous or questioning your ability to do this, know that that is a very natural part of the process, and YES, you can do this and I am here to see that you do!
