Annual - Return to the Dragon - Day Trip

The ATL Cruisers are Heading back to a great route. We are heading back to the "Tail Of The Dragon".
Adding the Cherohala Skyway to the trip, this will be will be a 400 mile ride from the KSU point. It takes more than one to tackle a dragon, but those that don't want to are more than welcome to come along to distract him from the start point. The scenery going is amazing and the ride is fun. This route is another KingJames Creation, and looks to be one that will be talked about for a while. There will plenty of stops in the route as well. We hope to see a good number of Cruisers.

Plan:
Meet at Chic-fil-A (2640 Windy Hill Rd. SE, Marietta, GA)
KSU at 7:00am
7:00am – 10:30am - 150 miles to the Resturaunts / 2 Gas Station - Pitstop before arriving
Eat and gas up (1 hours 30mins)
12:00pm Run the dragon - Start - Tail of the Dragon 17555 Tapoco Road Robbinsville, NC 28771
3:00pm – 7:30pm Scenic ride through the Skyway and Neals Gap. After a Pitstop.. Return - Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen 10795 Davis Drive Alpharetta, GA 30009 - Trip end - dinner or breakup

This was a great experience for me. I just haven't been riding much and the "Tail" helped me get more comfortable and confident. Still have a Loooonnnggg way to go though.

WOW!!!! This was a great ride. Thanks to the LAMA riders for coming along. It was a great time had by all. Thanks also to all the new Cruisers. I hope you had as good a time as I did. If you all didn't know before... The Tail is straight TAMED! I am really feeling the organization too. Vince, Uncle L, and King James.... We did the damn thing!!!
