ATL CRUISERS....What do you say?
Wow.... This is going to be a game to remember! We will be joining in on the tailgating scene and will be posted up, ATL Cruiser-Style. The spot will be in the lot right near the corner of Magnum St and Markham. This is right by The Bottle Works (63 Magnum St SW)
The lot of the tailgaters is no more than 50yards from there and can be seen. You can call one of us from there and be guided if you don't see us. We should be there NLT 12
There will be plenty of food and plenty of fun! The cover requires $10 and "a bottle".
Falcon Fan or Foe... We're still Fam!

I rode downtown with Norm to scout some areas and passed the info on over to LMack. Parking for multiple people would be difficult. There are campers and folks with tents out already.

Yes. The game will be on FOX. There are a couple of parking lots across the street from the Dome. One is across from Gate D. They normally charge $40 dollars for a single space and allow tailgating. Price may be more since its a playoff game. Only problem is they are a first come first serve and normally fill up early.

I spoke to the admin at the GWCC and she told me that online reservations are over. the gates open at 6a.m. Parking cost $80 for four spaces. I dont know how that works out.would we have to give everyone a code at the gate until we are at capacity? Thats not a bad price when split amongst attendees. She even went on to say if a camper can fit in 4 spots so be it. theres also a lot .59 miles from the dome.spaces are $13 and rv's $40. I figured everyone wanted to be closer to the dome, right? what are your thoughts.

hey fam we're going to have to pull together to make this happen. i checked the tv guide and it looks like the game will be on a local digital channel FOX. We do not need a satellite and receiver. I picked up a digital box for $50 and a $20 antennae at Walmart. I can not get a single channel thus far. the signal strenth is at zero. i did manage to get it at 6% then it faded.maybe the antennae is wack. is anyone picking up any digital channels? the girl at walmart said this is the same setup they use in the break room and it works. All we would need is an inverter if this works.
Also, RV parking is sold out. i wanted to drag the camper out. im not sure if it will be allowed in a normal lot...

One of the biggest hurdles would be obtaining a dish and receiver. If we are unable to do so more than likely we will have to watch someone elses screen.either that or i'll act out each qtr LOL

Also,if you're inviting non cruisers include them in the rsvp. we could take a small donation on site for food for those not providing supplies and etc.
January 17
Also, everyone do not have to be on bikes. if you want to drive let us know.we could meet prior to and provide chairs if anyone has some.
January 17
Do we want to list out items needed for this event or wait until more rsvp? things such as napkins, condiments, snacks, soft drinks and meat?

“The Gulch” – “The Gulch” isn’t quite as large as the Yellow Lot, but it’s the place to be if you have a one-vehicle or smaller tailgate. If you like roaming around and visiting other tailgates, this is your place. Also, the Falcons usually have a festival or event of some type for you to take in while at “The Gulch” and it’s also a place where radio stations and television crews frequent to get news footage or to interview fans.
“Gypsy Lots” – There are also a few “gypsy lots” scattered throughout the neighborhoods surrounding the Georgia Dome. Any lot around the dome is going to require at least $30-$50 for your parking spot, so don’t feel left out if you aren’t in the main lots.
January 17
Yellow Lot – The Yellow Lot is know for its large tailgates including the largest single-group tailgate each game day. The Yellow is a big lot as it hold nearly 1,300 vehicles. It’s easy to get to and you don’t have to arrive quite as early on game days for a spot. Abide by the written and unwritten rules of tailgating and you should have a great time in the Yellow Lot.

Two questions:
1> Can I wear my WHODAT gear?
2> Y'all not going to try to crowd me halfway into dat shellacking y'all about to take?
If I am good on both, and back in town in time, I will try to come through....

Tailgating Guidelines
Tailgating is allowed in all stadium surface lots. The Georgia Dome values your excitement and commitment and the following policies are established to ensure tailgating is fun and safe for everyone. All guests wishing to tailgate must observe the following guidelines.
Tailgating is not permitted in the Red Deck and Gold Deck.
Marked parking spaces are for vehicles only. Parking spaces may not be used for tents, grills, chairs or other items. Each vehicle must have a valid parking permit.
Tailgating is defined as the placement of any item on the ground (chairs, coolers, grills, games, etc.).
Tailgating must be confined to the area directly behind the vehicle or in adjacent landscape areas.
Maintain a 14' drive aisle between rows of vehicles at all times.
Any grass areas beyond the designated tailgating spaces are considered common ground.
Tailgating is permitted from the time that lots open and up to two (2) hours following the game.
