Re: [ATLphotoMeetup] NIKON D300s

Okay okay everyone!!!

I'm a canon guy myself but discussions like these are always interesting, especially when discussing the other side (nikon) heh heh! Besides I have friends with nikons who ask questions that I can learn from.

The downside to just using google as someone suggested is that anyone, knowledgable or not can post anything there and I don't know how many people go beyond the first few hits on a topic so the quality of the information can be questionable. Some of this reviewers don't even take pictures!!!

What I would suggest is open a gmail account and use the filters which work excellently to route such emails to a folder so it doesn't "clog" your inbox. It also groups all the emails of similar subject together so you d not have to click individually and if you want to delete the whole chain of messages related to a single subject it's a breeze.

Maybe the email service you use has something like this but I can't see why email is such a bother

We all know discussion forums suck anyway.

So guys, back to the discussion please.

Cheers,

Wale

We should have a mini-meetup for Nikon D90 and D300/s owners, so we can play with each other's cameras for a little while.  Wouldn't that be fun?  (canon owners are NOT invited.....)

LOL

just joking about that last part :)

Hello,

I have a chance to get a Nikon D300s at $1200.  I dm currently using a D90. I was thinking of buying the D300s and selling my
D90 to offset the price. Do you think this is a good deal? Are the differences that significant?

Thanks
