Open Mic / Song Discussion

Come join us for our open mic/discussion meetup at our new location :

Red Light Cafe!!

This week we're meeting on SUNDAY, November 24th at 8PM.

This is the last time we'll be meeting on SUNDAY.

Next month (December) we are back to normal Monday meetups.

Here are the rest of the details :

It's $3 at the door, starts at 8PM.

You can sign up to play a song if you'd like when you get here.

Everyone who wants to perform/play a recording will play one song and then we will discuss it (if you want).  Keyboard will be provided.  You are welcome to bring acoustic guitar, a recording, an a capella song, and even just some lyrics.  If it makes music, and you wrote a song with it; bring it on!

Join or login to comment.

I missed seeing Justin Farmer and of course, Angela Durden. It was fun, and I had to leave early again. Kudos to Will for creating such an event and securing a more relaxed location. A great many thanks to Angela for supporting such a great cause such as this one, thereby helping us songwriters develop our raw songs.
If we really listen to the constructive criticisms, and we go back and work on our songs, bearing these criticisms in mind, we actually will turn out a better song, pleasing to the ears. Thanks everyone! Be encouraged!
