Skyline Shoot in the Park (No charge to attend)

A Camera, a blanket, a beautiful park setting, and thou...lol! We've done this before and it gets better every time. The weather is cooling down and if it doesn't rain, everything should set up a perfect scene for a cool photo mash-up. We'll meet on "Oak Hill" on the 10th street side of Piedmont Park. (where Charles Allen Drive intersects 10th st.)
This time, everyone should brink a blanket so we can create a central "space" for us to gather and network in. Models who want to get out there and build your portfolios, come photo ready (there are no changing or make-up facilities in the park.) Our attending photographers are eager to practice their craft too, and a networking mash-up gives everyone the chance to photograph or be photographed. Photographers post their best on our meetup photo galleries and that's a great place for models and photographers to exchange information and pictures etc...
Note to the models: Photographers are usually pretty good about offering a few free web-shots to models that donate their time to our meetups if you ask by clicking thier meetup profile. Exposure and practice is why models should attend but getting a few free portfolio pics can certainly add to the joy of our meetups for you, so come on out, all levels welcome!
Note to photographers: You may photograph the models if you care to, but Piedmont Park has many other subjects, nature, the midtown skyline, so come out regardless of what you like to shoot.

Good meetup; Eric did a great job in giving some pointers to everyone before the shooting began.

Even though I didn't get there till the end, I had a blast. I was able to introduce my friend, Nicole, to the world of modeling!

Awesome shootout. we had clothing designers, magazines and lots of industry people there, but would you believe, not enough models! Models who want to get photographed and connected should style-up and come on out.

It was great to catch the end of the meetup, and to shoot with those of you that were still left! My babysitter stood me up, and so I only came to support a friend. Those of you who shot with the beautiful Nicole, please let me know! She is not yet a member of our meetup, but i will make sure that you can communicate with her. I had a chance to shoot for a second, so please let me know if you shot with me! (it was super dark when I got there, and there were no business cards left). Thanks! XOXOX
