I have one of the AB800s and I'm very happy with it. Um happy with
the light they provide and they are easily portable...not as east as a
speedlight of course...but not bad nonetheless. I'm not a lighting
expert (yet), so I look forward to hearing others comments. I also
have the stand and it has served me well. I suggest putting a couple
of sand bags on it if you have kids or clumpsy adults around. :-). But
that's the case with most stands. I also like that u can use the alien
bee radio trigering system, or pocket wizards, or the optical trigger.
All in all, no complaints. Good luck with making your decision.
