Introduction

Hi, I'm involved in Atheists United and help set this group up. I live in Oxnard so I'm a bit removed form this geographically speaking, But I'd love to help support this group and will attend the bigger events when I can.

How large is your family?

There are Five of us, My Wife, Victoria and I and Three Kids, 13, 11 and 2

What label do you use to describe your beliefs?

The Adults are Atheists, the kids dont really call themselves anything and we are comfortabel letting them chose.

What do you love to do as a family?

We like days in the park, trips to amusment parsk, movies, BBQs and museums.

Are you interested in helping organize events?

Sure, I'm in.

Brian great meeting you and I do appreciate your efforts with this group. Here is an excellent presentation on Youtube that was recently at the Sta Monica UU by Phill Zuckerman & Greg Epstein "the Rise of Irreligion". Might be good for a discussion event.

Brian,

It seems that over the last several months you have not clarified what the event, or topic, will occur when you meet at the Foster library. For example on November 28 you have NOT indicated if you will show a movie or hosting a speaker nor has the focus topic of the evening been indicated.I like to invite guests to join in your events and it is easier to do that if you provide information about what you have planned so I can use that when inviteing guests.
