Re: Re: [Atheists-United-Family-Group] Hello!

Good afternoon, Anne-Marie & Kevin, and Joshua & Trish -

As being new to this group myself, I cant speak as a representative (but I can as one who used to work on the West Side), so I do welcome you to Los Angeles and can empathize re; the difficulty of meeting people in that part of town (not to mention surviving their aggressive driving habits!). But  I believe I CAN speak for this- and similar groups that we share the urge to identify- and `commune with other, like-minded, open-minded and free-thinking souls so I hope that this group can help forge just that type of community amongst non-theists of all types.

For Anne-Marie & Kenvin, Im a long-time member of the LA County Natural History museum, and can really recommend it for adults as well as kids; the recently-remodeled California Science Center right next-door is even better-equipped to stimulate & entertain children..

For Joshua & Trish, Im spending more time in the Studio City/North Hollywood/Burbank area as my wife & I work to integrate our lives, so I hope that our paths can cross soon.
