We are so excited to present Star Parker as guest speaker for our August 26 meeting. This former Welfare Mom is running for the U.S. House of Representatives. She is the founder and president of CURE, Center for Urban Renewal & Education, a non-profit think tank to explore and promote market-based public policy to fight poverty.
You will see her on every major news network debating healthcare and other issues with Oprah Winfrey, Jesse Jackson, Michael Moore and others. She authored three books, launched an urban Christian magazine and now has a syndicated column for Scripps Howard News Service.

Why don't you work with SOC912 group for the Sept. 12th rally in San Juan Capistrano and have her come there to speak as well.
That would be the place for her. So many of us are leaving for Washington D.c. that weekend and won't be in town.
