Using Amazon SNS to publish cross-platform notifications

Mobile push notifications are a fast and universal way to engage and retain mobile app customers. Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) provides one simple API for fast, reliable, scalable, inexpensive push notifications to Apple, Google, and Kindle Fire devices.

Jon Turow, Senior Product Manager on the AWS Mobile team, will show how you can get started in minutes using Amazon SNS to publish cross-platform notifications.  We will cover how to launch a fresh app or quickly migrate to SNS from a legacy solution.  We will also demonstrate how SNS can be used together with Amazon Analytics to track user engagement of your push campaign.

This Meetup is must-attend for iOS, Android and Fire developers who want to build deeper customer relationships and better customer experiences.

Doors open at 5:30pm for registration, pizza and beer. Talk begins promptly at 6pm. Parking and Public Transport Map
