What we’re about
The American Wine Society is all about making wine knowledge exciting and fun!
We are passionate wine explorers—both beginner and expert—who believe wine discovery is a fun and lifelong adventure that should be shared. Our 7,000 members explore wine together, through relaxed chapter tastings, a magazine, national tasting events and much more.
Each event is an opportunity to make new friends, share a glass of wine and learn about the history, culture and traditions involved in making and drinking wine.
Acton, MA Chapter of the American Wine Society:
Members meet one a month to taste wine and learn about grapes, regions, wine styles, culture and more in a relaxed setting. We share the cost of the wines so we can taste better wines that the mass marketed stuff.
We have several American Wine Society Certified Wine Judges, a Certified Sommelier, WSET certified members and many wine enthusiasts.
Non-Members are welcome to join our events and check us out. If you've attended more than three events, we request that you join the American Wine Society. More information can be found at https://americanwinesociety.org
