Joe has offered to give us a Wine Evaluation class to understand (or brush up) on wine evaluations.  This is especially useful for the National Tasting Project (NTP) which will be coming up soon.

Agenda- greeting wine, 15-20 minute AWS Evaluation presentation- Evaluate / discuss 2 wines (White and Red) with direction.  Then you evaluate 1 or 2 wines independently followed with discussion.

Afterwards ... more wine from Spain, and mystery wine(s).

The cost will be $20 or less per person.

Please bring an appetizer.  For inspiration, Think Spanish tapas:

If you are not already an AWS member, you can attend 2 home events with the AWS Worcester meetup group before joining AWS (for insurance reasons).  For more info on American Wine Society membership and benefits, click here. Thanks for the grand send-off cake, Ann! We'll sure miss Everyone's culinary delights.
I've learned so much from Joe, and will put the education to good use while we sample the delicious Pacific NW wines. We hope you all visit soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening out with the wine and knowledge that I am grateful to have been a part of. Excellent job as always Joe! Thank you Theresa and Morris for all your efforts with the group and for making me feel so welcome to be a part of it - I am terribly sorry to see you move. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful pairings ... everything was absolutely yummy.

Another wonderful evening at Morris and Theresa's house. Delicious food paired with some interesting wines. Once again, Joe went all out with his wine seminar, explaining how to evaluate each wine we tried. Enjoyed learning how to evaluate red and white wines. A special thank you to Ann for making a fantastically light strawberry cake. Yum!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
