AZ hiking group

Hiking is a great cross training exercise that can incorporate cardiovascular activity with resistance training.

We have beginner hikers to extreme trail/running/rock climbing hikers.

We hike the following WEEKLY...

CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN (Cholla Trail: Camelback/Invergordon), every TUESDAY.

NORTH MOUNTAIN (Peoria/7th Street), every THURSDAY....OR

SUNRISE MOUNTAIN (Happy Valley/83rd Avenue)....OR..

WESTWING MOUNTAIN (Happy Valley/83rd Avenue)

MOUNT UNION (Prescott National Forest, meet at http://www.mglodge.com ) every FRIDAY.

THUNDERBIRD PARK (59th Avenue/Pinnacle Peak) every SUNDAY....OR..

SQUAW PEAK (Glendale/20th Street) ....OR

DEEMS HILLS (Happy Valley/51st Avenue)

We do a grueling "hikers" Lower Body weight training Workout every WEDNESDAY at LA Fitness (83rd Avenue/Union Hills)

MONTHLY OVERNIGHT hiking excursions ...

Mount Union Saddle (Prescott National Forest) JUNE/AUGUST

Sheeps Bridge/Horseshoe Resevoir (Tonto National Forest) SEPTEMBER

Petrified National Forest: Joseph City Badlands/Marcou Mesa (Interstate 40/between Winslow-Holbrook) OCTOBER/MARCH

Turrett Peak/Rugged Mesa (Tonto National Forest) JULY/NOVEMBER

Grand Canyon Kaibab/Bright Angel/Tonto/Clear Creek/ Trails APRIL/MAY/DECEMBER

If there is a hike that is not listed, our members can simply schedule a meet up on any hike they will be doing and it becomes a meet up.
