Hi. I'm new to mountain biking and looking for lots of different ways to get fit and stay fit. Looking forward to being a part of your group!
I've been biking since December 2011. I'm very much a newbie but we all have to start somewhere, right? I prefer to do easy trails with nice scenery and I'm not really interested in riding on the road. Intense climbs wear me out quickly but I'm focusing on my cardio so I can improve my overall endurance.
I live in Ahwatukee and during the summer I can ride in the evenings. I'm typically able to be somewhere by 5:30 or 6:00. I'm also available on the weekends.
I have lots of questions on how to be a better rider. Everything from basic maintenance and trail etiquette to proper riding techniques. When I do something, I like to do it "right" and I'm willing to make a financial and personal investment to achieve my goals.
I would be but I do have a problematic tendon in one of my feet so some activities are limited by that condition. I do tend to push the limits from time to time but as that flares up, I have to rest it.
