The trip is set with the people who emailed me 1st with their bio's.
This trip required all the people going to "lead" themselves. We were not looking to show people down this canyon but rather to join some like skilled people for a day of fun. The skills required for Immaculate are not basic. Everyone involved will know how to get to the campsite, find the canyon by themselves & capable to set up the drops. Everyone in the group is be skilled enough to be a "trip leader" in this canyon. Map or gps route finding required.

For those not going on the trip, email me with some ideas of other canyons you'd like to do & I'll try & get together with you after we talk about your skill levels. I will lead on other canyons, but not on the 13th. And you'll need to the homework for the canyon you choose....

And those of you who were qualified - sorry but others were in line before you...sorry again.

And everyone else, could you please send me a short list of the highest rated canyons you've canyoneered, please? Nothing personal.... but Immaculate is not a beginner canyon & anyone going should have previously done some closely rated canyons in AZ UT CA or elsewhere (3BIII). I'm sorry about the inquisition....

HIKEAZ has some limited beta on Immaculate. I know it's hard to break into this sport...I was a greenhorn once also... For the less experienced I'd be more than glad to lead you on some lesser rated canyons to check out your skill level enough to see if you can do something like Immaculate. Get Todd Martin's book - Technical Canyoneering AZ for some of the canyons you'd like to do then contact me & we'll fix a date to go out?
