Introduction
I'm an American (from Chicago, but both a Texan and a Londoner for a few years) trapped in Viborg and desperate to meet some fun people and maybe even compare margarita recipes.
The group survives by members helping with events, even if only once a year. What infomation would make you feel comfortable to help out with events? What events could you help with?
any I could, but we only have one vehicle.
The group is a social network for professionals, typically aged 25 to 45, working in Århus. Please describe yourself (age, work etc). How long have you been in Aarhus? What company are you with etc?
I am hoping to move to Aarhus late next year. Currently my Danish fiance and I live in Viborg. and I go to London occasionally for flm and tv freelance work.
If you're not Danish, where are you from and what is your connection to Denmark?
I am American but have lived in the UK for many years. I'm marrying a Dane next year.
What sorts of events would you be most interested in attending? (e.g., meals, cinema trips, book clubs, family events, other)
meals, trips to Copenhagen, book clubs, parties. The salsa lessons look like fun.
What is your primary interest in the group? (e.g., general socializing, language skills development, etc)
meeting people who aren't typical stoic Danes. Absolutely no offense meant, but I miss nights in thepub with my fun, and funny, friends.
