There are two loves in my life. Snowboarding and the Japanese language. I went to Japan for the first time in March 2013. Hokkaido. Hiroshima. Kyoto. Osaka. I fell in love with Hokkaido. My goal is to work and live in Japan, preferably in Hokkaido. I work part time as a Ramen Ninja at Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen and I'm taking impromptu Japanese lessons from a native. I will work and live in Hokkaido someday.
I love everything about the Japanese culture. The politeness of its people. Cleanliness. Warmth. Beauty. They say the best ways to learn a language is move to that country or find a lover who speaks it natively. Since I have not been able to do both. This is the next best thing.
10 for English. 1 for Japanese. I am a slow learner.
I was born in Singapore. I grew up in America. I moved back to Singapore 3 years ago. I have an American accent. I am learning how to speak and write Nihongo. I have problems with Hiragana. I want to improve faster.
