Join us for a day of fun and laughter, and make a difference to those in need.
"Card making for a cause" is a bi-annual event organised by a dear friend of mine, Leisa Gill, in memory of her mother who was a fabulous card maker, and who passed away in March 2010.
It's about women coming together to make a difference where it's needed.
And this fits so nicely with the values of our Absolutely Positively Women group that I wanted to share it with you lovely ladies.
Why just go out with a friend for a coffee when you can come along, have a coffee/tea, and make a positive difference while you chat?
You don't need to stay for the whole day, just an hour or two of your time would be lovely to make a difference.
All the card-making materials are provided and no skill is required.
The cards are donated to hospitals and charities, who sell them to raise much-needed funds.
Leisa's efforts have seen over 5000 hand-made cards donated in just three years.
Another way to support on the day is to donate your unused / unwanted cards, scrapbooking and craft materials.
There will plenty of parking, there are ATM facilities, lunch can also be purchased in the cafe.
Please feel free to invite some other generous friends.
Please do RSVP (essential please ladies) by 13 March.
Please note that your $15 includes espresso coffee or pot of tea, morning tea and a donation to charity.
If you would like more information please feel free to contact Leisa on[masked] or [masked]
