Distinguishing Vowel Sounds

Ovient English (Inside the Plug and Play Tech Center) (map)

Selected By: Rachel Klein

In this Meetup, we’re going to be focusing on vowel sounds that are often confused. Many times, two very different words sound very similar if the vowels are not pronounced correctly. We will practice the sounds through speaking and listening exercises.

I had a lot of fun with all of you. Everyone was very friendly and not shy at all! Keep practicing those vowels. :)

Well explained, good examples, lots of practice. However, each participant should be heard individually rather than everyone talking at the same time when practicing sounds.
