I had a great time Saturday, thanks very much for the amazing company!I apologize for leaving suddenly without saying goodbye to some of you. I thought I would be able to join you again in the next pubs, but it was not possible. Looking forward to other meetings.

Finally got to attend my first meetup here. Had a great time...Just felt like meeting old friends..Gave a hard time to some (no hard feelings Sally and Charisma)..I also experienced Newton's philosophy of "whatever goes around comes around" coming true in the shortest time span. I got back my share of hard time with the softest thing imaginable- yes..a jello shot.
I also learnt a few things which I wanted to know. Thanks Kovacs. And a few things which I didn't want to know. Thanks Gael.

Really nice, it reminded me of the old days when I stayed at backpackers places like in Australia

I'm sorry that I was not able to make it. I need to plan ahead for transportation (i.e. car pooling to BART, what station to get off on BART, etc.) and get a better idea of the general area in the city where the event is to take place. Thank you Susan for asking about parking, this is very helpful information for me as well.

Ohh..and I have Kovacs' number. In case he's not gonna be around when I reach, I'll be kind of screwed

How long do you plan to be around? Do you think it makes sense for me to drive all the way up from redwood city now?

Hey sexy accents -- can't wait to see you all again! Anybody travelling from the East Bay/San Ramon area? Don't wanna get lost in the crowd by myself looking for the group -- call me at[masked] (we can ride bart together or drive -- more fun!) See you all soon.

Susan, the 5th & Mission garage is a popular one (though it is not close to Civic Center). Also, there are many small parking lot garages which go by the hour/day too. Now, if you want free parking for the day and don't mind walking 15 minutes, you can nearly surely find something up Fell Street (going west), between Octavia/Laguna ...all the way west. It's one way and you have to be on the lookout ....or there is also along Hayes, but a lit more west though. Off course, there would be some in the western addition too. But folks out of town, find there dodgey.

I was going to suggest 5th and mission too. from there, you can walk to markt and either walk or take the muni toward civic center

Tentative. Went to Molly McGee's (MV on Castro) one year and it was fun! Think that there was corn-beef and cabbage as well.
