Introduction

I am from Montreal. I have travelled a lot for pleasure and for work and I plan on continuing to do so for as long as I can. Other cultures have shown me what a wonderful, rich world we live in. I am very curious and would live on another continent.

What does consciousness mean to you ?

I am happy to have come across this group and I look forward to learning from members and the leader, Susan and sharing my positive outlook. To me consciousness is about being authentic. Really listening and paying attention to what is going on. Making a conscious effort to understand the other, where they are coming from. Also be aware of the beauty around me. Disciplining myself to take care of my body in as many ways that I can. A friend of mine once said to me "Everyone has a story..." Those few words have made me tolerant and more accepting of what is as opposed to what should be which is a very righteous attitude that I sometimes have. Am trying to rid myself of that automatic response to criticize. At least I am conscious of it :) Looking forward to meeting you, Marie-Claude
