Assemble 3D printers

Got a 3D printer or would like to build a reprap or the like? Well, every other Wednesday, when it isn't Arduino night, come to AMT and work on it. Don't know anything about 3D printing but want to learn the basics, well, the pros from Dover scratching their heads as they attempt to make plastic melt can show you how it is done!

Basically, I need to build my printer(s) and so does David. Since we actually have a functioning printer at AMT and parts of several more that aren't functioning, it seems like a good idea to get together and build them or work on 3D printing stuff.

I'm going to show up at 7:30 PM on alternate Wednesdays and pretend to be a monkey with a hammer and a dream. Come join me! Watch David explore the magic which is a Prusa Mendel. Ask silly questions and print on the Mosaic. Fix the Cupcakes!

I have just joined the group. Which materials should I bring ( or costs will I be expected to pay) in order to participate?

This isn't an organized class. This is a time and space for people to work on their 3D printing projects. There is no fee but no particular materials provided. Most of us are bringing printers that we're building.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
