Laser Cutter 101: Safety and basic operation


Learn to use the AMT CO2 Laser Cutter. This one hour class will cover basic safety and operation of the laser cutter at AMT. We will cover:

• Start up and shut down

• Operational safety

• Materials do's and don't

• Demonstrations of materials cutting using wood, cloth paper and acrylic

• Demonstrations of etching wood, leather and metal if we have time

After taking this course AMT members will be eligible to use the laser cutter at the member rate.  Non-members will be able to use it at non-member rate if you have a waiver on file and are hosted by a AMT member. 

Please RSVP thoughtfully and carefully. Class requires a minimum of 4 people to run.
