Meet cool people, learn about our space, talk about tech

AMT is a hackerspace (click for wikipedia definition) dedicated towards education, hacking, and maker culture. We look to provide opportunities for people to learn new skills and to educate themselves in a hands-on, immersive manner. We also provide an equipped shop and workspace for our members to collaboratively work on projects. We already have a few classes/workshops, and hope to offer an even broader range as we develop.

Thursday evenings are our general membership meetings, and "open house" for anyone to stop by, meet people, check out what we have to offer, work on projects, use our equipment, etc. Come by and see what we are about, it's free to visit!

Check out our website to see more of what goes on and what we have to offer.

See our weekly schedule for other days/times when we are open to the public, if you can't make the thursday meetings.

I'm new to the group. Hoping to make it to an Open House soon. How late do they typically go? I'm in SF for a Make: event tomorrow (Thu) and thinking I could stop off on the way home, but not sure I can be there by 7:30. Thanks.

There should be someone there until at least 8:30pm, usually much later.

Sorry, can't make it...I am making cool recycled robots for kids at the Westport library to encourage scientists and readers and artists...ahh, throw in some history. All for little ones all and some from paper. Paper transformers to make and take origami gliders, play dough volcanoes. moveable doable free and cheap. Any ideas...send them my ways. The future is ours to encourage....peace !
