Costume Lab

Costume Lab - Sept. 22nd - 11am to 4pm
Update: Good news for those of you coming out to the Costume Lab!

We have received a donation of a beloved costume bin… with great stuff just crying to be remade into more great stuff! We also received a bin of great fun fabric of the "burning man" variety. Truly dreamy stuff for costume making. Pictures will be posted shortly!

First come first serve.

End Update

Do you have big costume dreams? Not sure how to create that perfect outfit? Need to make belts props or just that right sparkly jump suit.

Well the Costume Lab is the place for you! Tools and experts will be on hand to help you realize your vision. Special costume related equipment includes:

  • A bedazzled (bring your own gems)
  • A hard-core clue gun
  • A big box of odds and ends
  • A good selection of patterns to choose from
  • A selection of LED's and the supplies to sew them into your project.
  • A 5 thread serger sewing machine(great for stretchy projects)
  • And of course the laser…

Free free to ping me about your ideas if you are looking for recommendations on how you could possibly pull them off.

This workshop is great if you are looking for a second set of hands or brains to help you work out your costume project.

Plan on bringing a few dollars for the supplies you consume (LED's, etc) and materials and fabric for your specific project. The AMT shop has the basics like pins, tape measures and the like. (If you need help figure out fabric requirements for a project email [masked])
